Q-Q Research provides research and evaluation services to help organizations determine the quality and impact of their investments, identify assets, and needs and measure performance. Since 2011, Q-Q Research has conducted 200+ evaluation-related client engagements and has experienced consistent annual growth. As a result of our growth, we need to expand our team of dedicated professionals. 

The Community-Based Research Analyst (CBRA) develops and executes monitoring and evaluation engagements in support of entities (e.g., foundations, municipalities, non-profits) seeking to understand community assets and needs, and strategically address issues. The CBRA will lead these engagements through completing and/or overseeing activities that facilitate a community participatory approach to evaluation. The CBRA establishes and maintains community relationships; engages and recruits community participants; schedules, coordinates, and performs data collection and analysis. Interprets data (e.g., field research data, census level data, organizational data); provides evidence-based recommendations; and disseminates findings through reports, presentations, and other means for a variety of audiences.


Qualification, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements

A minimum of a master's degree in psychology, public health, social policy, sociology, psychometrics, or other related disciplines

At least three years of experience leading community-based monitoring and evaluation engagements

Proficient in one or more of the following software programs: SPSS, SAS, MPLUS or R

Knowledge of research principles, protocols, techniques, and standards specific to community research, and monitoring and evaluation

Proven experience developing and presenting logic models and theory of change models

Knowledge of strategic planning principles

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

Knowledge and understanding of electronic data collection and data management

Ability to summarize data, draw conclusions and inferences and prepare reports and presentations

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities

Ability to make independent decisions and judgements

Knowledge of current and emerging trends in community research

Possesses a high level of attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and project planning skills

Prior experience working with youth and adults of diverse cultural backgrounds 

Ability to travel throughout the state of Florida, nationally and possibly internationally

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruits community participants and sites for evaluation projects

Develops, schedules, contacts, and arranges meetings with project stakeholders

Establishes and maintains community relationships through face to face, email, and phone contact

Develops data collection plans and creates surveys, focus group and interview guides

Facilitates focus groups and interviews, and oversees the dissemination of surveys 

Ensures project deliverables are completed accurately and on time

Cleans, labels, organizes, and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, interprets data, and creates data visualizations

Produces formative and summative reports with recommendations and executive summaries

Delegates responsibilities and oversees the work of Research Assistants, Consultants, and other project staff

Develops and presents formal and informal presentations for various audiences

Maintains positive and professional ongoing communication with clients, funders, and staff

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
